I've just downloaded the best of Simple Minds and currrently dancing with crutches to "Alive and Kicking"!!!! (note to self, really should get out more).
However, when I'm not practicing my moves on one foot I’ve managed to finish off my Clapotis in time for Woolfest next week!
I made one for my sister three years ago and whilst it was lovely I thought it came out a bit too big so I knitted it on 4mm needles and made it half the width. The yarn is Tao in Madras, 100% silk, from Colinette. I bought it at least two years ago so it's a good bit of stash busting and at £13.21 (I think it was £12.50 when I bought it?) per 100g that's also some expensive stash busting (I used 295g for the scarf).
So what's next. I've still too many UFOs in the bag but I'm going to Woolfest........how will I resist a new project??
Note how well I can balance on one leg and take a picture!
